The face behind Iron + Lace

Meet Megan.

Megan, the photographer behind Iron + Lace, smiling at the camera.

Hellloooooo, I’m Megan—the face behind Iron + Lace.

The name started as my roller derby name, Iron Megan, but for wedding photography I wanted to add a little softness.

I started taking photos after our team photographer passed away tragically and unexpectedly. I wanted to fill in and photograph my team in his memory.

From there, I realized I have a knack for capturing special moments that might otherwise be overlooked.

Wedding photography has completely stolen my heart. I love being part of such an important day in someone’s life. The experience makes me pause and remember the gentler side of life.

So that’s a little about me and how Iron + Lace came to be! I’m glad you’re here.
